Shift: Day Shift (4x10.5-hour days, 42 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:15 AM – 5:45 PM


Position Overview

A healthcare facility in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a full-time, short-term assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures used by physicians to detect breast abnormalities, assist in diagnoses, and support treatment decisions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, safety, and accuracy, along with proficiency in mammographic imaging systems and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.

  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout all examinations.

  • Conduct routine quality control (QC) checks to maintain equipment accuracy and optimal imaging performance.

  • Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures as required.

  • Document procedures accurately within the EMR system (experience with EPIC preferred).

  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members to support efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

  • Maintain compliance with all departmental, state, and federal regulations related to mammography.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in mammography imaging techniques.

  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.

  • Experience with Quality Control (QC) procedures for mammography equipment.

  • Experience assisting with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.

  • Ability to work a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule with 10.5-hour shifts.
