Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant – Physician Services (CWR)
Location: Paramus, NJ 07652
Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Local Pay Rate: $18/hr
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Travel: Required between Paramus, Franklin Lakes, Montvale & North Bergen

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physician services across four clinic locations. This role involves providing high-quality clinical and administrative support while working a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.
Prepare exam and treatment rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked.
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
Accurately record patient vital signs and update medical charts.
Perform EKGs, PFTs, audiometry, Titmus tests, UDS, BAT, phlebotomy, and lab testing upon validated competency.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized medical equipment.
Complete documentation and support general clerical workflows.
Assist with billing, collections, and insurance-related tasks as needed.
Utilize electronic systems for patient records and office operations.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
Deliver patient-centered care to diverse populations.
Follow safety, quality, and organizational policies.
Meet physical demands: lift up to 5 lbs., push/pull up to 10 lbs., and stand for at least 6 hours per day.
High School Diploma or GED
Active AHA BLS certification
One of the following credentials:
CMA (NHA), CMA (NCCT), CMA (AAMA)
RMA (AMT), RMA (NAHP)
AMCA or NCMA
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
