Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Columbia, SC 29223
Duration: 20 Weeks
Shift: Day — 5x7.5-hour (07:00 AM – 02:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hr
Weekly Range: $2,437.50 – $2,625
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support K–12 students through comprehensive evaluations, counselling, behavioural interventions, and collaborative planning. The ideal candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student learning, emotional well-being, and overall school success. This position requires onsite presence with limited hybrid flexibility based on approval.
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K–12 students.
Provide counselling, behavioural interventions, and other direct/indirect psychological services.
Partner with teachers, administrators, and school teams to support student development.
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility decisions, and ongoing progress monitoring.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Assist with crisis intervention and provide recommendations for behavioural and academic strategies.
Active South Carolina School Psychologist license.
Minimum 2+ years of school psychologist experience (required for top bill rate).
Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (Ed.S., SSP, or equivalent).
Experience supporting diverse K–12 student populations.
Ability to work onsite full-time or in an approved 3-days onsite / 2-days remote hybrid schedule.
Strong assessment, data interpretation, consultation, and documentation skills.
