11.5-hour shifts (Day: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM | Night: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Total: 34.5 hours/week
Local Rate: $2,156 – $2,415/week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced L&D unit. This position involves supporting laboring and postpartum mothers, ensuring safe deliveries, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and assist with conscious sedation as required.
Continuously assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with the medical team.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN, ADN) from an accredited program.
Minimum 2 years of experience in maternal and child healthcare.
At least 2 years of IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation experience.
Active New York State RN license (Primary Source Verification required).
Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
