A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced EP Lab Registered Nurse to support procedural care in a high-acuity cardiac electrophysiology environment. The role alternates between 3 and 4 ten-hour shifts weekly and involves hands-on participation in specialized EP procedures, device insertions, and rhythm management interventions.
Minimum 2 years of EP Lab RN experience
EPIC experience required
First-time travelers accepted
No pending licenses accepted
BLS
ACLS
Must be proficient in EP Lab clinical competencies including:
Electrophysiology procedures
Baseline measurements
Cardiac ablations & cardiac mapping
Cardioversion & conduction studies
Pacemaker and AICD insertion/programming
Scrubbing for EP procedures
Dysrhythmia interpretation/management
Sheath removal and post-procedure monitoring
Emergency meds, IV vasopressors, antihypertensives
Thrombolytics & blood product administration
ACT testing
Use of vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose, etc.)
Topical hemostasis devices (D-Stat, Chito-Seal, Syvek Patch)
Implanted port care and maintenance
Experience using Micropace monitoring system (required for ablations)
Scrubs provided
RTO limit: No more than 1 week allowed per contract
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
