A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced MICU Registered Nurse to join its critical care team. This role involves caring for high-acuity patients in a 16-bed Medical ICU with complex and intensive care needs. Travel nurses with strong critical care backgrounds and comfort working with advanced life-support technologies are encouraged to apply.
Active New York RN license in hand — no exceptions
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Strong background in medical ICU patient care
Required experience with the following critical care technologies:
CRRT
IABP
Impella
ECMO
Ability to manage high-acuity patients including:
Sepsis, ARDS, respiratory failure
Multi-organ failure
Post–cardiac arrest/targeted temperature management
Renal failure, heart failure
EKOS
Alcohol withdrawal & overdose cases
Comfortable with ratios of 1:2, and occasional 1:1 depending on acuity
Every other weekend required
First-time travelers accepted
