Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 8-hour shifts
Additional: Occasional Saturday shifts (7:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Gross Weekly Pay: $1700/wk
A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support patient care within its outpatient clinic settings. The clinician will work at either the Ithaca or Cortland location each week (assigned in advance—no mid-week split). This position requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Provide patient-centered nursing care within an outpatient clinic setting.
Support patient assessments, vitals, injections, wound care, and other routine clinical tasks per scope of practice.
Document accurately using Epic (charting system).
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care.
Float between Ithaca and Cortland clinics as assigned weekly.
Maintain compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an LPN/LVN
Preferred Experience:
Rehabilitation or mental health setting
Outpatient clinic experience
Certifications:
Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license
BLS (AHA) required
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Epic (charting)
Ability to float between assigned clinics
