Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Shift

Location: Keene, NH
Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Contract Length: 9 Weeks
Job Summary

The Travel LPN provides high-quality nursing care within a skilled nursing/long-term care environment. This role supports residents’ daily medical needs, administers treatments, and collaborates with the care team to ensure safe and effective patient care during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and facility protocols.

  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.

  • Monitor residents’ conditions, perform assessments, and promptly report changes to supervising staff.

  • Document all care, observations, and interventions in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Assist residents with ADLs as needed, ensuring comfort and safety.

  • Respond to emergencies and perform crisis intervention in accordance with policy.

  • Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.

  • Maintain infection control standards and follow regulatory and facility guidelines.

  • Support resident and family needs with professionalism and compassion.

  • Participate in handoff reporting at shift changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Active LPN license in the state of practice (or compact license).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.

  • Strong medication administration and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours.

  • Excellent communication and clinical judgment.

  • Familiarity with EMR systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel LPN experience.

  • Experience managing higher-acuity geriatric patients.

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
