Location: Ithaca, NY 14850
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3×12-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36 hours
A skilled Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN is needed for a night-shift assignment at a healthcare facility in Ithaca, NY. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care within a Med-Surg/Tele environment and float within scope to other inpatient units as required.
Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit
Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans
Monitor and interpret telemetry & vital signs
Administer medications and treatments safely
Document accurately using Epic EMR (Epic experience required)
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team
Respond promptly to patient condition changes
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards
Float to other units within scope when needed
Active RN license
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg and/or Telemetry experience
Epic EMR experience required
Ability to work night shifts (3×12s weekly)
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills
