Job Title: Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night
Hours: 36 hours/week (rotating schedule, 3×12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, unpaid lunch)
Schedule: Every other weekend and rotating holidays
Travel Rate: Up to $2,596/Week
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel RN – Labor & Delivery for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process to maintain accurate and current patient records.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document physical, psychological, and social dimensions, including discharge planning.
Develop and implement individualized plans of care and communicate relevant information to care team members.
Demonstrate proficiency as a charge nurse and serve as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education.
Monitor quality indicators, evaluate care, and participate in improvement initiatives.
Adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies.
Maintain professional development and current knowledge of patient care techniques and regulations.
Represent the hospital positively both internally and in the community.
Provide excellent service to patients, families, visitors, volunteers, and colleagues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
Completion of hospital-specific pharmacology exam.
Documented attendance at Fetal Monitor Course every 2 years (Intermediate or Advanced).
Recent Obstetrics experience (within last 2 years) required.
CPI (Crisis Prevention) certification preferred.
