Job Title: Sterile Processing Coordinator
Location: Long Beach, CA 90805
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Rate: $1,237.50/week
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Sterile Processing Coordinator for an exciting job in Long Beach, CA.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and schedule SPD staff, ensuring workflow coverage.
Monitor instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution.
Ensure compliance with ANSI/AAMI standards, SOPs, and infection control.
Conduct quality audits and maintain accurate documentation.
Train, mentor, and support staff development.
Manage equipment maintenance and coordinate with other departments for instrument availability.
Promote safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Assist with inventory management and KPI monitoring.
Requirements:
3+ years in sterile processing; 2+ years in leadership.
Knowledge of sterilization standards, OSHA regulations, and infection control.
Ability to multitask and work independently in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and timekeeping systems.
CRCST certification required; CIS and healthcare leadership certification preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or leadership experience preferred.
