Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to support enterprise-level technology initiatives within a large Information Technology (IT) organization. The Scrum Master will apply SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles to guide up to three agile teams, ensuring efficient workflows, strong team performance, and successful delivery of high-quality technical solutions.

This role requires hands-on leadership across all Agile ceremonies, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and participation in quarterly Program Increment (PI) planning. The ideal candidate will excel at removing impediments, promoting Agile best practices, and driving continuous improvement across teams.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master using SAFe

  • Proven ability to identify, escalate, and resolve team impediments

  • At least 1 year of direct Scrum Master experience leading Agile teams and facilitating:

    • Daily Stand-ups

    • Sprint Planning

    • Sprint Reviews

    • Retrospectives

    • Quarterly Program Increment (PI) Planning

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Jira and Jira Align

  • Proficiency in managing Agile team backlogs, sprint plans, roadmaps, and reporting

  • Experience linking test cases and results to user stories and tasks

  • Proven ability to promote Agile principles and shield teams from distractions

  • Experience partnering with Product Owners for backlog refinement

  • Strong ability to track and communicate team progress, metrics, and performance

  • Experience supporting continuous improvement and team coaching

  • Ability to coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to advance organizational Agile maturity

  • Experience assisting with risk identification and mitigation throughout project lifecycles

Desirable Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability

  • Experience in utilities (electric, water, gas) or public-sector environments

  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile best practices

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Proven success influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority

  • Hands-on proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
