Job Summary
The Epic Cupid Application Analyst is responsible for enhancing the functionality, stability, and efficiency of healthcare information systems. This role involves analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Epic applications, with a focus on ensuring seamless workflows and optimizing operational performance. The analyst provides continuous support, troubleshooting, and advisory services to end users while contributing to project initiatives, system upgrades, and training efforts. This position typically reports to an Information Systems leadership team member.
Associate degree preferred
Epic Certification required (Cupid module preferred)
2 years of experience in healthcare, education, or technology-related roles
3 years of progressively responsible experience in systems development, implementation, or healthcare information systems (preferred)
Experience supporting or configuring Epic or other EHR systems (preferred)
Working knowledge of Epic application support tools, methodologies, and workflows
Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
Solid planning, organizational, communication, and customer-service skills
Experience in large, complex IT environments preferred
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments
Translate user needs and business requirements into Epic application specifications
Participate in workflow assessments and recommend enhancements
Develop and deploy queries, reports, and business solutions within Epic and integrated systems
Assist with build changes under established development standards
Maintain working knowledge of assigned Epic modules and related systems
Support system configuration, version upgrades, and technical documentation
Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and system optimization
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours application support
Assist with training, onboarding, and user education initiatives
Support project tasks with moderate supervision
Collaborate with team leads and project managers on timelines, priorities, and implementation activities
Identify issues, propose solutions, and escalate as needed
Provide recommendations for workflow improvements and system enhancements
Deliver high-quality support and service to clinical and operational teams
Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
Maintain strong interpersonal relationships and collaboration
Support organizational initiatives related to quality, safety, efficiency, and compliance
Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and competency maintenance
Serve as a mentor or resource to junior team members as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
