Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day
Hours: 40 hours/week | 8 hours/day
Pay Rate: $36–$38/hr
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech therapy services in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with medically complex cases and demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations and treatments.
Manage dysphagia cases and create patient-specific care plans.
Document assessments and progress in accordance with facility standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to support patient recovery.
Deliver care aligned with current best practices and safety protocols.
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.
1 year experience as a Speech Clinician.
Dysphagia training required.
Experience handling medically complex cases.
Valid NYSED Speech Language Pathologist license (Primary Source Verification required).
BLS certification preferred.
