Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: New York, NY 10016
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Mon–Fri, 10:30 AM–6:30 PM (Potential Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $68–$70/hr
Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support PET/MRI imaging. Daily workload includes ~13 patients across 2 rooms, serving adolescent to geriatric populations.
Responsibilities:
Support PET/MRI exams, including patient setup and post-exam transitions
Perform hot lab closing QC, start IVs, draw venous blood, take glucose for FDG studies
Handle radioactive materials (FDG, Amyvid, Dotatate, Pylarify + research tracers)
Work with neurologic/oncologic cases: dementia, Alzheimer’s, epilepsy, tumors, whole-body oncology
Use EPIC (preferred) and NMIS systems
Requirements:
ARRT (N), NMTCB, BLS, state license
Experience in adult/clinic settings
Skilled in PET procedures, IV initiation, and radioactive materials handling
