Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an urgent 13-week contract assignment within a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment. The ideal clinician will be skilled in assessing and treating communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Conduct evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.
Develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
Deliver therapeutic interventions to support communication and safe swallowing function.
Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding communication and dysphagia management.
Maintain flexibility to support facility needs and patient caseload demands.
Active, unencumbered SLP license in the state of practice.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
Prior experience in skilled nursing, geriatrics, or post-acute rehabilitation strongly preferred.
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a care team.
