Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support therapy services within a rehabilitation-focused care setting. This short-term assignment involves working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care, assist with treatment plans, and promote functional recovery.
Carry out physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Provide therapeutic interventions, mobility training, and restorative care.
Monitor and document patient progress, treatment activities, and clinical responses.
Communicate effectively with the PT and interdisciplinary clinical team to support effective care planning.
Educate patients and families regarding exercises, mobility techniques, and rehabilitation goals.
Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment.
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice.
Prior experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
Strong interpersonal, documentation, and clinical support skills.
Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
