Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a day-shift contract opportunity within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, maintain accurate documentation, and work collaboratively with healthcare staff to support resident safety and well-being.
Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring resident conditions.
Assist with care planning and follow all facility protocols and state regulations.
Accurately document patient information, vital signs, and care provided in the EMR system.
Communicate changes in resident health status to RNs and other clinical staff promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant care environment.
Support residents with daily needs while promoting dignity, comfort, and respect.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of assignment.
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing strongly preferred.
Ability to work day shifts consistently for the full 14-week contract.
Strong communication, assessment, and time-management skills.
