Job Title: RN – Medical Surgical/Stroke Care
Location: Multiple Locations
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $40–$60/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg, Stroke, and Stepdown experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements:
• Two or more years of Med/Surg practice
• Required: Stepdown & Stroke unit experience
• Must be a prior travel RN
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Active state RN license
• BLS required; ACLS beneficial
• Strong patient-focused clinical competencies
Responsibilities:
• Manage care of Med/Surg and Stroke Stepdown patient populations
• Perform neuro checks and observe for status changes
• Administer medications safely
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary professionals
• Engage in stroke-response procedures
• Utilize EPIC for all charting
