A leading radiology center in New York City is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support PET/MRI imaging services. This temporary 8-week assignment operates Monday–Friday, with potential Saturday shifts as needed.

Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Staffing Ratio (Days): 1:2
Shift: 10:30 AM–6:30 PM, Monday–Friday (some Saturdays possible)
Documentation: EPIC (preferred) and NMIS
Provider Support: Radiology team
Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease
Neurological disorders (epilepsy, tumors)
Body oncologic cases
Closing QC of hot lab
Starting IVs and obtaining glucose levels for FDG exams
Preparing patients for PET/MRI exams and assisting with post-procedure needs
Handling and administering radioactive materials such as:
FDG, Amyvid, Dotatate, Pylarify
Research doses: C11, PI2620, FBB, MK6240
ARRT (N)
NMTCB
State license (as applicable)
BLS certification
Proficiency in PET imaging
Starting and maintaining peripheral IV lines
Drawing venous blood
Safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
Adult patient care
Clinic/outpatient imaging
Electronic Documentation: EPIC experience preferred
Training Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM until independent
Saturday OT Available: 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
