Position Title: Ultrasound Tech – Vascular
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13-Week (Contract)
Shift: Days (8 × 5)
Hourly Pay: $50–$60/hr
Weekly Pay: $1,875–$2,250/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Tech – Vascular for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of vascular and general ultrasound examinations based on physician orders.
Operate ultrasound equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Review and communicate preliminary imaging findings, including urgent or critical results.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during all procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.
Assist with workflow tasks such as patient scheduling, room preparation, and equipment setup.
Participate in on-call rotation, weekend duties, and holiday coverage as required.
Qualifications:
Registered or registry-eligible Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
Preferred Certifications:
ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or equivalent.
Experience in vascular ultrasound strongly preferred.
Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques.
Ability to work independently during 8–12-hour shifts.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
Current BLS certification (if required by facility).
