Position Title: Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13-Week (Contract)
Shift: Nights (8.5 × 5)
Hourly Pay: $55–$61/hr
Weekly Pay: $2,040–$2,440/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by referring physicians and radiologists.
Greet patients, explain procedures clearly, and ensure proper positioning for optimal imaging.
Set proper exposure factors to produce high-quality radiographs.
Follow all radiation safety and protection guidelines to minimize exposure.
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report equipment issues promptly.
Process imaging studies and maintain accurate documentation in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Adhere to departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
Maintain professionalism, patient care standards, and workflow efficiency during overnight shifts.
Qualifications:
Education: A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Licensure: Current New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist license/registration.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist.
Other Requirements: Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging equipment
Ability to perform exams independently and efficiently
Familiarity with radiation safety practices
Competence with Radiology Information Systems (RIS)
