  • Hours per Day: 8 hours

  • Hours per Week: 36–40 hours

  • Schedule Notes: Overtime begins after 40 hours

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapeutic services across inpatient and outpatient adult settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive SLP evaluations for adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs

  • Provide speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy

  • Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, PT/OT teams, and other care providers

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home strategies

  • Assist with home health care visits as needed

  • Maintain compliance with facility standards and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

  • Active Nebraska Speech Language Pathologist License (Required)

  • BLS Certification – American Heart Association (Required)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Experience with adult populations in both inpatient and outpatient care

  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
