A healthcare facility in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team.
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with comprehensive care delivery.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individualized patient needs.
Identify priorities for care using assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans through ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient needs, medical diagnoses, and functional health patterns.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of assigned patients.
Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Promote and support evidence-based practice and innovative care delivery models.
Provide patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum 2 years RN experience in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital.
Strong MS/Tele background.
Competency in:
Patient assessment
EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm analysis
Hemodynamic monitoring
IV therapy and insertion
Medication administration
Wound care
Patient & family education
Inpatient hospice knowledge
Required: ASN
Preferred: BSN
