Position Title: RN – Med/Surg

Shift: Day Shift, 7:30 AM–8:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $45–$50/hr ($1,875 weekly)
Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking RN – Med/Surg for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and treatments per facility protocols.
Develop and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR.
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up needs.
Respond appropriately to emergencies using sound clinical judgment.
Maintain compliance with infection control, medication safety, and hospital standards.
Support new and float staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Active New York RN license.
BLS (AHA required); ACLS preferred.
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience.
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Proficient with EMR systems and standard nursing documentation.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
