Position Title: CT Technologist
Location: Ithaca, NY (14850)
Job Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (3×12 hrs)
Pay Rate: $65–$70/hr ($2,415 weekly)
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging during night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role focuses on patient care, safe imaging practices, and efficient workflow support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans per established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Prepare, position, and communicate clearly with patients to ensure safety and comfort.
Operate CT equipment, adjust technical factors, and administer contrast when required.
Review orders, patient history, and clinical details prior to imaging.
Document procedures accurately in EMR and PACS.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with clinical teams and report equipment issues promptly.
Work independently and maintain professional conduct during night shifts.
Requirements:
Active NY Radiologic Technologist license
ARRT (CT) certification
BLS (AHA)
1+ year recent CT experience preferred
Strong understanding of CT protocols, radiation safety, and contrast administration
Proficiency with EMR and PACS systems
