We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Technician to support fast-paced emergency department operations. The ideal candidate will provide essential patient care, assist clinical staff, and perform technical duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Provide basic patient care and assist with daily living activities in the Emergency Department.
Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
Take and record vital signs accurately.
Perform EKGs and assist with arrhythmia monitoring.
Conduct glucose checks via finger stick.
Monitor and report telemetry surveillance.
Support nursing staff with patient transport, positioning, and general assistance.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment.
Minimum 2+ years of experience required
At least 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department Technician
Phlebotomy experience required
PCT Certification required
BLS Certification required
EKG/Arrhythmia certificate (Preferred)
Medical Technician or Nursing Attendant certificate (Preferred)
At least 1 year of experience as an EKG Technician, Nursing Attendant, or equivalent role preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills
