Job Title: RN – Med/Surg & Stroke Unit
Location: Multiple Locations
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $40–$60/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg, Stroke, and Stepdown experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements:
• At least two years of current Med/Surg experience
• Mandatory Stroke and Stepdown experience
• Prior travel RN background is required
• EPIC experience necessary
• Valid RN license in applicable state
• BLS required (ACLS a plus)
• Solid clinical judgment and strong patient-care capabilities
Responsibilities:
• Care for patients on Med/Surg and Stroke Stepdown floors
• Monitor vitals, neuro status, and acute changes
• Administer medications and execute nursing interventions
• Work closely with physicians and allied health professionals
• Assist in urgent stroke care and rapid assessments
• Maintain clear documentation in EPIC EMR
