Position: LPN
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Contract Length: 9 weeks
A dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a short-term night-shift contract in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. This role follows a rotating schedule and includes working every other weekend. The LPN will provide high-quality overnight nursing support while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Provide direct nursing care according to facility policies and clinical guidelines
Administer medications and treatments during the night shift
Monitor patient conditions, record vitals, and report changes promptly
Respond to urgent situations and support residents with nighttime needs
Maintain accurate documentation throughout the shift
Collaborate with overnight staff and ensure effective handoff reports
Active LPN license in good standing
Minimum of 1 year nursing experience (LTC, rehab, or SNF strongly preferred)
Ability to work a rotating schedule and every other weekend
Strong clinical judgment and time-management skills
Dependable, professional, and able to work independently overnight
