Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Speech Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Paonia, CO.
Job Responsibilities:
Assess patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy interventions to improve communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and exercises.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Skills
Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology techniques and rehabilitation protocols
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
Attention to detail and adherence to clinical standards
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology – Required
Licensed SLP in Colorado – Required
2+ years of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or inpatient rehab – Required
BLS (American Heart Association) – Preferred
