Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Occupational Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bakersfield, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, coordination, and mobility.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment use.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Skills
Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
Attention to detail and adherence to clinical standards
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy – Required
Licensed Occupational Therapist in California – Required
2+ years of experience in outpatient or orthopedic rehab – Required
BLS (American Heart Association) – Preferred
