Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT teams to collect information related to current policies, processes, and systems.

  • Create clear, well-structured, and comprehensive documentation for IT processes and policies.

  • Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations to IT leadership with data-backed justifications and proposed implementation strategies.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and user guides for internal and external audiences.

  • Create or update process diagrams using Visio or similar diagramming tools.

  • Maintain documentation repositories within SharePoint and ensure proper version control.

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, translating complex processes into easily understandable materials.

  • Support change management initiatives by preparing training content, communication materials, or user documentation.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in IT or technical environments.

  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Comfortable working with data, with the ability to interpret, analyze, and visualize data for decision support.

  • Strong visual communication skills for producing infographics, flowcharts, and process visualizations.

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to bring innovative ideas to problem-solving.

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.

  • Outstanding communication skills and a customer-focused approach.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in enterprise IT environments or with service management platforms.

  • Familiarity with workflow mapping, documentation standards, or business process modeling tools.

  • Knowledge of SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
