Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Shift Length: 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality nursing care during overnight shifts in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment. The clinician is responsible for supporting residents’ health needs, assisting with clinical tasks, and ensuring safe, patient-centered care throughout the night.
Administer medications, treatments, and wound care according to clinical standards and scope of practice.
Monitor resident conditions, perform assessments, and promptly report changes to supervising RNs or providers.
Document nursing care, assessments, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and assist residents to ensure comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate medication records and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Participate in handoff communication at the start and end of shifts.
Follow all safety, infection control, and facility policies.
Active state LPN license.
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts consistently.
