Job Title: MRI Technologist

Shift: Nights – 4×10 hours (7:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Location: Columbia, SC

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI imaging for a diverse patient population. This role includes working with pediatric, neonatal, trauma, and stroke patients. Strong pediatric MRI experience is required for this position.

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday

• 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM

• No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient MRI exams across all age groups, with a primary focus on pediatric and neonatal patients

• Operate MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T systems)

• Position patients and ensure proper safety protocols are followed

• Evaluate imaging for diagnostic quality

• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams

• Maintain equipment, room readiness, and documentation

• Provide compassionate care and communication to patients and families

Requirements

• ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist (RT)

  • ARRT required; ARMRIT not accepted

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience

• Strong pediatric MRI experience required

  • Children's hospital experience preferred

• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment preferred

• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
