Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Shift: Days – 5×8 hours (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Location: Columbia, SC

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality radiation treatment services in an outpatient and/or hospital-based oncology setting. This role requires strong patient interaction skills and the ability to operate advanced radiation therapy equipment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist

• Position patients accurately for treatment using immobilization devices

• Operate linear accelerators and associated treatment equipment

• Verify treatment parameters and ensure proper documentation

• Monitor patient responses and report any concerns to clinical team

• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies

• Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines

• Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients undergoing treatment

Requirements

• Active state license or eligibility to practice as a Radiation Therapist

• ARRT (T) certification required

• Experience operating modern radiation therapy systems

• Strong communication and patient-care skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
