Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to support a high-acuity Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The RN will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Active South Carolina RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
ACLS and BLS required
Minimum 1 year of EPIC charting experience
Previous Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
Ability to work in a procedural and on-call environment
3×12-hour shifts: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
One shift per week includes on-call until 7:00 AM the next day
Weekend on-call: Once every 6-week schedule (Saturday 7:00 AM → Monday 7:00 AM)
Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, angioplasties, device placements, and other interventional cardiac procedures
Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure monitoring
Administer medications safely during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique
Respond to emergencies and rapid changes in patient status
Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC
