We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract assignment. The SLP will provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients requiring speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing support. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals and functional improvement.
Provide direct therapy services in accordance with clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, compensatory strategies, and home programs.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning.
Maintain compliance with professional, state, and federal guidelines.
Active and valid SLP license in the state of assignment.
Minimum 1 year of recent SLP experience (SNF or rehab setting preferred).
Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
