Shift: Days, 5 days/week (8-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hr ($750–$937.50/week)
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care for an exciting job in Far Rockaway, NY.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
Support with feeding and ensure adequate nutrition and hydration.
Take and record vital signs, weights, and other routine measurements.
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
Maintain clean, safe resident environments, including linen changes and room organization.
Follow individualized care plans and comply with all facility policies and infection-control standards.
Offer companionship, emotional support, and enhance residents’ overall quality of life.
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New York.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in long-term care preferred.
Ability to work day shifts, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and observation skills.
Ability to lift, turn, and move residents safely; must meet physical requirements.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to resident-centered care.
Able to follow instructions, work independently, and function effectively as part of a team.
