We are seeking a Radiology Support Technician with a strong background in both clinical and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in phlebotomy and basic X-ray procedures, along with proven front and back office skills. This role is ideal for a Certified Medical Assistant or a professional holding a BXMO or Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) license who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Perform front and back office duties including patient intake, check-in/check-out, and documentation.
Record and monitor patient vital signs; prepare patients for examinations or minor procedures.
Perform venipuncture and blood draws — must have maintained active phlebotomy skills within the past 12 months.
Operate X-ray equipment and perform basic radiographic imaging procedures (BXMO or equivalent license required).
Maintain and update accurate patient records in electronic health systems (EHR/EMR).
Assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures, ensuring safety and patient comfort.
Manage exam room setup, sterilization, and inventory of medical supplies.
Support scheduling, insurance verification, and other administrative functions when needed.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and safety regulations.
Deliver compassionate, professional patient care and contribute to a positive clinical environment.
Experience: 5–7 years as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or healthcare environment.
Certification: Current Medical Assistant certification required.
Licensure: BXMO license or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) certification accepted.
Phlebotomy: Recent and verifiable experience within the last 12 months.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with EMR/EHR systems and general office software.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with providers, nurses, and administrative staff.
