Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Operating Room for an exciting job in Fort Myers, FL.
Responsibilities:
Provide perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique.
Prepare and maintain the operating room, instruments, and supplies for surgical cases.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery, responding quickly to any complications.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, medications, and patient care activities.
Support infection control, equipment safety, and compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
Licensure: Active Florida or Compact RN license required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of Operating Room (OR) experience required.
Travel Experience: Prior travel experience required.
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
Skills: Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care standards; excellent teamwork and communication skills.
