Shift: Day Shift | 4x8-Hour (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM / 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
On-Call: Required every 4th weekend
Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend
Weekly Pay: $2,270 (Gross)
We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a hospital environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management for all patients.
Review, prepare, and dispense prescribed medications in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies.
Monitor patient medication therapies for safety, efficacy, and appropriateness.
Provide drug information, education, and support to healthcare staff and patients.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practice.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate on treatment plans.
Manage compounding and dispensing of IV medications and hazardous drugs as needed.
Maintain accurate records and utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order verification.
License: Active Minnesota Pharmacist License (must be current; pending licenses not accepted).
Experience: 0–2 years of pharmacy experience required; inpatient or acute care experience is mandatory.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Chemo/Hazardous Drug Certification
IV Certification
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system.
