Role Overview: The Manager of Laboratory is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital’s laboratory services, ensuring accurate, efficient, and regulatory-compliant diagnostic testing to support optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage clinical laboratory operations across multiple testing disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and applicable state regulations.
• Collaborate closely with pathologists and clinical teams to support diagnostic accuracy and care delivery.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and performance management.
• Lead quality assurance, process improvement, and accreditation readiness initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Active Florida Laboratory License (required)
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in an acute care laboratory setting
• Bachelor’s degree required
