Schedule: 8-Hour Night Shifts | 5 Nights per Week
Pay Rate: $3,153 Weekly Gross
The Registered Nurse – Nursing Supervisor provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of nursing operations to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. This role includes both supervisory and clinical responsibilities, requiring strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Maintain effective communication with physicians, discharge planners, and referral sources to enhance awareness of services and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, physician offices, and skilled nursing facilities.
Coordinate and implement services for patients transitioning from inpatient care to home or community settings.
Ensure consistent adherence to evidence-based practice standards and agency protocols.
Collaborate with Human Resources to review applications, interview, hire, and onboard new employees.
Support and guide direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Organize, coordinate, and evaluate activities related to patient management using available clinical data and software tools.
Provide clinical expertise and serve as a resource to nursing staff and community partners.
Conduct team meetings and participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and care conferences.
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure patient and staff safety, including weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
Deliver direct patient care when required to meet operational demands.
Complete staff performance evaluations on schedule and address performance issues in collaboration with HR.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical quality measures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience, including at least 2 years in community health (home health experience preferred).
Experience in supervisory or leadership roles within a clinical setting.
Strong understanding of home health and hospice operations, including patient management and compliance standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – State of Massachusetts (Required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association (Required)
