Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shifts | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $2,580 Weekly Gross
The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assist radiologists in acquiring high-quality images used for medical diagnosis and treatment planning. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
Take necessary precautions to protect patients and staff from potential hazards.
Set up and clean equipment, performing minor adjustments and preventive maintenance as needed.
Capture, label, and upload images into PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
Ensure adequate supplies and materials are stocked and available for procedures.
Assist with the orientation and training of new ultrasound personnel.
Answer phones, schedule examinations, and coordinate patient transport as necessary.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and institutional policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor or lead technologist.
Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
OR
High School Diploma/GED with successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program
ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
