Job Title: RN Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 5x8-Hour Day Shifts
Pay Rate: $3,918 Weekly Gross
We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support clinical education and training initiatives within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor & Delivery and Medical-Surgical nursing, providing leadership, mentorship, and clinical expertise to enhance nursing competencies and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff.
Provide clinical instruction, mentorship, and support to new and existing nurses.
Collaborate with leadership and department heads to identify training needs and performance improvement opportunities.
Ensure adherence to current clinical standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.
Assist in the orientation and onboarding of newly hired nursing staff.
Evaluate staff competencies through direct observation and skills validation.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the nursing team.
Maintain accurate records of staff education, certification, and compliance training.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN, ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience required.
Strong clinical background and ability to educate and mentor nursing staff.
Licensure: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
