Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant for an exciting job in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration, oxygen saturation).
Reposition and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a positive care environment.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and report observations to nurses or supervisors promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including making beds, changing linens, and sanitizing equipment.
Assist with specimen collection (urine, stool, sputum) and basic patient care procedures under supervision.
Support rehabilitation and mobility exercises as directed by nursing or therapy staff.
Follow all infection control and safety protocols, including hand hygiene and use of PPE.
Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests.
Document care provided accurately in paper or electronic records as required.
Qualifications:
Valid CNA certification in Arizona.
High school diploma or equivalent.
BLS certification.
