Job Title: Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Falmouth, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening/Night
Pay Rate: $2,639.88 Weekly Gross ($73.33/hour)
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive and compassionate care to critically ill patients, ensuring continuous monitoring, timely interventions, and adherence to the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Monitor, assess, and document the condition of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and life-saving treatments.
Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
Perform advanced nursing procedures such as IV insertion, CVP monitoring, and hemodynamic assessments.
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Respond quickly to medical emergencies and perform advanced life support interventions.
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) of patient care and progress.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Uphold infection control, HIPAA, and safety standards at all times.
Required:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts or compact state).
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in an acute care setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA-approved).
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems preferred.
Preferred:
CCRN certification.
Prior travel nursing or tertiary care facility experience.
