Position Title: Radiology / Cardiology X-Ray Technologist
Location: Maryville, TN 37804
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Day/Evening | 5x8-Hour Shifts
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $40 – $48 per hour | Approx. $1,500 – $1,800 per week
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Radiology / Cardiology X-Ray Technologist for an exciting job in Maryville, TN.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray and cardiac imaging procedures per physician orders and protocols
Safely operate radiologic and cardiac imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
Position and prepare patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy
Review and verify image quality prior to submission for interpretation
Document procedures accurately in the EPIC EHR system
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and department standards
Conduct basic equipment checks and report issues promptly
Provide coverage every other weekend as scheduled
Qualifications:
Certification: ARRT (R) – Required
BLS: Active Basic Life Support certification – Required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray Technologist experience
System Experience: At least 1 year of EPIC EHR experience
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
