Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Job Type: Contract | Travel or Local
Shift: Nights | 3×11.5-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Compensation:
• Local: $70 – $72/hour
• Travel: $2,900 – $3,000/week
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult telemetry and medical/surgical patients
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, reporting abnormalities promptly
• Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation confidently and safely
• Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care outcomes
Qualifications:
• License: Active NY RN License (primary source verification required)
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) required
• Certifications: AHA BLS & AHA ACLS (required)
• Experience:
– Minimum 1 year Medical/Surgical
– Minimum 1 year Telemetry
– Minimum 2 years IV insertion & Phlebotomy
– Minimum 2 years Conscious Sedation
