Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New York, NY 10029
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Hours per Week: 16
Pay Rate: $68/hour
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI equipment, patient care, and imaging techniques, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and patient comfort.
Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Operate GE MRI scanners efficiently and accurately.
Review and verify patient information, consent forms, and prior imaging records.
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure quality diagnostic results.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as required.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records.
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology.
A.R.R.T. (MRI) Certification.
Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating GE MRI scanners.
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and MRI physics.
Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills.
